Audrey first discovered yoga when she was 16 and has been practicing yoga ever since.
Through her daily yoga practice Audrey found time away from her busy life to be more aware of her body and her breath and to steady her mind.
Audrey is a fully qualified Hatha and Yin yoga teacher and is especially interested in breath work, meditation, finding space in the physical body and achieving balance.
For Audrey, "Yoga is not about putting more pressure on ourselves to achieve the perfect posture but rather about exploring the possibilities of our own individual bodies to discover what can be achieved."
"We are all different, our yoga practice will be individual to each of us. Often what is happening in our mind is reflected and manifested in our body, what we feel and the emotions we go through often determines how our bodies respond."
"Our time on the mat can allow us to think about the connection between the body and the mind through the physical practice and breath work."
As well as her daily yoga practice Audrey enjoys time outdoors in the Argyll countryside walking, running and cycling (even when its raining!) and also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
